Baby #3: 29 Weeks

How I'm Feeling:

I feel great over all.  I feel like getting out and doing things as well as accomplishing things around the house.  Just not the dusting.  I've never really been into the dusting.  Regardless of what I do, my back aches by the end of most days.  It usually feels better by the next morning.

I went in for a fasting glucose test on Tuesday morning, so we'll see how that turns out.  I'm not sure if they'll call me with results and schedule a consult if I tested high again, or if they'll just wait until my 32 week appointment on August 9.  I'm banking on August 9th, since my results will be normal (as we prayed for).

I've reached the stage where Norah is beginning for form sleeping and waking patterns, so there are long stretches of time when I don't feel her moving at all.  Yesterday evening, I felt panicky over this for some reason, but true to Freeman style, Norah started kicking away as soon as I sat still for over 5 minutes.

Baby Center says:

Your baby now weighs about 2 1/2 pounds (like a butternut squash) and is a tad over 15 inches long from head to heel. His muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and his head is growing bigger to make room for his developing brain. To meet his increasing nutritional demands, you'll need plenty of protein, vitamins C, folic acid, and iron. And because his bones are soaking up lots of calcium, be sure to drink your milk (or find another good source of calcium, such as cheese, yogurt, or enriched orange juice). This trimester, about 250 milligrams of calcium are deposited in your baby's hardening skeleton each day.
