This time, we're unsure of the original source, but the end problem was a massive colony of carpenter ants. Last week, I noticed a board on the house that appeared to be rotten/spongy. Turns out, it was over half-eaten by these little guys. Grrrrrrrrr!
Jadie sprayed to kill them (or as many as possible). I have spent today at home awaiting representatives from three different roofing companies so we could put together an idea of how much we'd be forking out for this one. Bummer!
I think I'd like to have a house built out of steel with all brick and somehow figure out how to leave out all wood parts. Is that even possible?
